ADHD ProblemsWhen ADHD Problems Are Presented, More Serious Health Issues That Need To Be Talked About.Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a serious issue with the American population. ADHD can cause problems within the home, at school, relationships, and even at work. It affects 3% to 5% of children, teens and adults. No doctor or researcher knows the true cause of ADHD, but they do know with medications that it can be controlled. There of course is no cure in sight. What really causes ADHD? Researchers have found out that it can be a genetic based illness. They also know that the neurotransmitters in a patient with ADHD are at a different level then a normal child, teen or adult. ADHD shows its ugly head in childhood and if ignored raises more issues as an adult. This means that as an adult they have had to endure the illness for so many years before diagnosis happened. Research proves that 30% to 70% of children that are diagnosed with ADHD continue to have the same symptoms when they reach adulthood. Researchers are realizing that children whose mother drank alcohol, smoked, or even a child with a low birth weight will have the added risk of being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or ADHD. It doesn't stop there. Even a child that has been subject to environmental toxins or even lead are at a higher risk of being diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. Sleep apnea is at high risk of developing in a child, teen, or adult with ADD or ADHD. This has a serious sleep disorder. Sleep apnea literally means sleep without breathing. It is an interruption of airflow to the lungs to bring much needed oxygenated blood to the body. This is a serious health issue. A healthy regime will help stimulate the ADHD brain function. Talk with a doctor about a serious, healthy, and exercise oriented regime for the ADD and ADHD clientele. |
