Medicine Wheel at Redcliff for adult ADHD Medicine Wheel at Redcliff is a wilderness based behavioral health program in the rough dessert terrain of southern Utah. It offers outdoor experience based treatment to adults between the ages of 18 and 26 who have struggled with issues such as adult ADHD, substance abuse, and mood disorders. Medicine Wheel Redcliff has learned from the strengths and maturity of its highly successful sister program, Redcliff Ascent. Its approach to behavioral therapy is centered on the theme of the Native American medicine wheel.

Medicine Wheel's philosophy is that the students have stopped developing behaviorally and emotionally. Students are given a chance to examine themselves and their lives, learning to cope with adult ADHD related challenges. Therapy is tailored to meet each person's needs. Students at Medicine Wheel set their own pace and they and their therapists decide when they are ready to graduate. There are 4 other programs in the Redcliff treatment family, each uniquely tailored for specific needs and all based on experiential relationship based therapy. Redcliff Ascent is a wilderness therapy program for troubled teens between the ages of 13 and 17.

Discovery Academy is a therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens and Discovery Ranch is a troubled teen residential treatment facility in a ranch setting. Finally, Oxbow Academy is a treatment facility for teenage boys struggling with sexual dependency. Wilderness boot camps follow the model of breaking down the participants and then rebuilding them. Medicine Wheel doesn't shame students into changing but helps them learn to live maturely with adult ADHD. Other similar programs also offer the wilderness experience, but Medicine wheel offers a much lower student to staff ratio of one to three, a healthy diet designed by the Harvard School of Medicine, and a staff of trained psychologists and professionals. Students leave Medicine Wheel happier, healthier, and ready to face the world with maturity.
